2009年

2007年に結成した実の兄弟である5lack、高校時代から親交が厚いGAPPERとのグループPSGでの

1stアルバム『David』の発表や、グループとしてFUJI ROCK FESなどの出演、曽我部恵一との共作、block.fm主催のradio program「Mixxed bizness」の展開やRedbullのTVCM、TBS系 水曜日のダウンタウンのOP他、断れない性格ゆえに色々活動(中)。

2012年

作品集MIX「Movie On The Sunday Anthology」を発表。

2017年

宇多田ヒカル「光 -Ray of Hope MIX-」のオフィシャルRemixを担当。

同曲はゲーム「Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8」全世界共通のオフィシャル・テーマソングに起用された。

FUJI ROCK FESTIVAL’17「WHITE STAGE」に出演。

自身初のソロアルバム『MODERN TIMES』を発表し、ワンマンツアー「Journey into Mystery Tour 2017」を開催。

2018年

SPACE SHOWER MUSIC AWARD「BEST HIPHOP ARTIST」、CDショップ大賞「準大賞」受賞。アルバム解説作品『MODERN TIMES -Commentary-』を配信。

新木場スタジオコーストにてワンマンライブ「Seasons Greetings'18」を開催。

2020年

1stアルバム以来となる新作「The Sofakingdom」を発表。

11月には、これまでの限定楽曲をまとめた「Small Token」をリリース。

2021年

「Small Token pt.2」を発表。

TVアニメ「オッドタクシー」の劇伴音楽を、VaVa、OMSBと共に担当。

2022年

前作「The Sofakingdom」の付録的位置付けであり、対になるような作品「Return of The Sofakingdom」を発表。 FUJI ROCK FESTIVAL’22では、日本人HIPHOPアーティストとしては初となる「GREEN STAGE」に出演。

2023年

相鉄東急直通記念ムービー『父と娘の風景』の楽曲を制作。

シングル「Family Sale feat. 親父」を発表。

実父をフィーチャーし、親となった自身の心境を表現した作品となっている。

2025年

4月に2022年にYouTubeチャンネル「THE FIRST TAKE」で披露した「フレンヅ」を配信リリース。

7月にはPUNPEE & BIM名義でEP「Iced Out」を発表し、「ICED OUT!!! TOUR 2025」を全国5都市(東京・大阪・福岡・沖縄)で開催。

12月、ゲストにC6ix、Bonbero、スチャダラパーからANIという多彩なアーティストを迎えた「MUSEIGEN feat. C6ix, Bonbero & ANI」をリリースした。

2026年

1月ソロシングル「Mornin'26」をリリース。本作はPUNPEE自身が抱える葛藤との折り合いの付け方が描かれた楽曲となっている。

2月には東京ガーデンシアターにてワンマンライブ「Seasons Greetings'26」の開催を予定している。

しかしまぁ、⼤事なのは今後である。P 

PUNPEE Profile :

2009

PUNPEE released the 1st album David with PSG, a group formed in 2007 with his real-life younger brother 5lack and long-time friend GAPPER from high school.

As PSG, they performed at major festivals such as FUJI ROCK FESTIVAL, collaborated with Keiichi Sokabe, launched the radio program “Mixxed bizness” on block.fm, and worked on projects including a Red Bull TV commercial and the opening theme for TBS’s Wednesday Downtown.

Known for his inability to say no, PUNPEE was involved in a wide range of activities during this period.

2012

Released the mix compilation Movie On The Sunday Anthology.

2017

Produced the official remix of Hikaru Utada’s “Hikari – Ray of Hope MIX–,” which was selected as the worldwide official theme song for the game Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8.

Performed on the WHITE STAGE at FUJI ROCK FESTIVAL ’17.

Released his first solo album MODERN TIMES and held his first solo tour, Journey into Mystery Tour 2017.

2018

Won BEST HIPHOP ARTIST at the SPACE SHOWER MUSIC AWARDS and the Excellence Award at the CD Shop Awards.

Released the commentary edition MODERN TIMES -Commentary-.

Held a solo concert “Seasons Greetings ’18” at Studio Coast in Shin-Kiba, Tokyo.

2020

Released The Sofakingdom, his first full-length project since his debut album.

In November, released Small Token, a collection of previously limited tracks.

2021

Released Small Token pt.2.

Co-composed the soundtrack for the TV anime Odd Taxi together with VaVa and OMSB.

2022

Released Return of The Sofakingdom, positioned as a companion piece to the previous album.

Performed on the GREEN STAGE at FUJI ROCK FESTIVAL ’22, becoming the first Japanese hip-hop artist to do so.

2023

Produced the music for the Sotetsu–Tokyu Direct Line commemorative film “Scenery of a Father and Daughter.”

Released the single “Family Sale feat. Dad,” a personal work featuring his real father and expressing his own feelings after becoming a parent.

2025

In April, digitally released “Frends,” originally performed on YouTube channel THE FIRST TAKE in 2022.

In July, released the EP Iced Out under the name PUNPEE & BIM, and held the ICED OUT!!! TOUR 2025 across five cities (Tokyo, Osaka, Fukuoka, Okinawa).

In December, released “MUSEIGEN feat. C6ix, Bonbero & ANI,” featuring a diverse lineup of guests including C6ix, Bonbero, and ANI from Scha Dara Parr.

2026

In January, PUNPEE released his solo single ‘Mornin’26.’ The track depicts his personal way of coming to terms with the conflicts he holds within himself.

In February, he is scheduled to hold a solo concert, “Seasons Greetings ’26,” at Tokyo Garden Theater. 

But after all, what truly matters is what comes next.P
